Take-back of batteries and electrical equipment

Our e-shop sells batteries (e.g. LiPo packs) and electrical equipment (motors, speed controllers, chargers, receivers, development boards). Under Czech Act No. 542/2020 Coll. on end-of-life products and Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 on batteries, you can return them to us free of charge.

Why they do not belong in the bin

Products marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol must not be thrown into mixed waste. They contain substances that can harm the environment and health, as well as raw materials that can be reused. Lithium batteries (LiPo, Li-ion) can catch fire when damaged or short-circuited – tape over the terminals before handing them in, and hand in damaged (swollen) cells separately and with care.

Where to return them free of charge

• To us: we take back used batteries and electrical equipment free of charge in Plzeň (by prior arrangement at info@flsbattlebots.cz). We take back batteries regardless of their brand and where you bought them. We take back electrical equipment when you buy a new product of the same type and function (one for one).
• At public collection points: municipal collection yards and collection boxes for batteries and small electronics (shops, offices, schools). Outside the Czech Republic, please use the collection system of your country.
